Dr. Phil Lineberger, Pastor

Phil Lineberger was called to succeed Dr. Ken Corr, as the second Pastor of Williams Trace Baptist Church in November 1995. Dr. Corr had served Williams Trace as Pastor for thirteen years and from here was called to be Pastor of First Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee.
Pastor Phil grew up in Texarkana, Texas, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1969 from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Divinity Degree in 1975 and a Doctor of Ministry Degree in 1979, both from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Pastor Phil has pastored six churches in the past thirty-nine years, ten of those years at Williams Trace. He also served two terms as President of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, 1989-1991, and currently serves on numerous Boards, including the Board of Regents at Baylor University.
Pastor Phil and his wife Brenda have three daughters and seven grandchildren.

David Adams, Associate Pastor, Education & Administration

Born in Houston, David graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Teresa, and they have two teenage boys, Nathan and Nick. He came to the staff of Williams Trace in March of 1999 to lead in the areas of Christian education and administration. Beyond WTBC, David enjoys family time, sports, and trying to outplay his kids on video games (usually not very successfully...) Email David

Linda Page, Associate Pastor for Preschool & Childhood Education

Linda joined the WTBC staff in November of 1996. She is married to Gayle, the mother of two grown sons Jonathan and David, and grandmother to Maya. She graduated from Wheaton College with degrees in education and religion and has a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Houston. In addition to her fifteen years as a full-time Children's Minister, Linda has run a tutorial service for students with learning difficulties, taught Kindergarten, first grade and the gifted, and started three weekday preschools. She is the author of Study in Style and has written curriculum extensively for Lifeway Publishers. She leads conferences in churches, in schools and at conventions on learning styles, organization and weight control. She loves reading, working out, spending time with family and friends, and travel.
