The WTBC Youth Spring Break Ski Trip is full and we are currently accepting names for a waiting list! We are going to begin a rotation where we go every other year skiing or on a mission trip for all 6-12 grade students. Since last year was Mission Waco, this year we will be skiing Winter Park. We will leave right after Sunday School on March 14 to load the bus and head off to the mountains of Colorado. We will be staying at the YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch which is a wonderful Christian conference center where students will be safe and have an opportunity to enjoy God’s incredible creation as well as play basketball, volleyball, roller skate, pool, ping-pong, foosball, and swim. Since safety is always our priority, all students who come on the trip must have an updated medical release form and we must have a copy of their insurance card.

All first time skiers/snowboarders are required to take ski school taught by professionals at Winter Park so they will learn the basic abilities needed to have fun and be safe on the mountain. If any accidents occur, ski patrol is present at all times on the mountains and an emergency clinic is at the base of the mountain.

Cost for the trip is $400 for the week and includes transportation, lodging, breakfast & supper at Snow Mountain Ranch, a cool WTBC sweatshirt, 3-day lift ticket, and rentals. Cost does not include meals on the road, lunch on the mountain, deposits for the games at the YMCA, ski school for first timers (additional cost of approximately $35), and any souvenir money.

We are planning to take a charter bus to Winter Park and the bus will shuttle us the 14 miles to the ski area from Snow Mountain Ranch each morning and then back in the evening.
