Children

Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at WTBC!
We love 1st – 5th grade children! It is so great to have fabulous fun while we learn about the fabulous love of Jesus! We seek to provide quality, age-graded teaching for kids, and have a blast while doing it. Being a kid is fun, exciting, and challenging. We want to be there with kids through it all. We desire to partner with parents to help children as they begin a relationship with Jesus and as they grow in that relationship.

Lisa Keeling, Associate Pastor for Children
Julie Zimmerman, Children's Education Associate

Mrs. Lisa is currently available for lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays.

"IN" the Know
Discussion guides to help parents approach popular culture issues with their children.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is the new hit movie, based on a book series, that has captivated the attention of many children and pre-teens.  Thomas Sanders has written an excellent discussion guide based on this movie/book.  The guide helps parents talk to their children about this movie/book.  This is not a recommendation to read the books or see the movies.  Actually, it is not recommended for young children or preschoolers. However, if your older child or pre-teen is familiar with it, has read it, or has seen the move, this is a great opportunity to discuss the ideas presented in the story.
